Description

The GWN7816(P) is an enterprise-grade Layer 3 managed network switch featuring 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 6 Gigabit SFP+ ports, designed to enable enterprises to build scalable, secure, and high-performance business networks. It offers smart power control for dynamic PoE/PoE+, and PoE+ (GWN7816P) power allocation per port in PoE models, and supports deployment in both IPv6 and IPv4 networks. The switch includes advanced reliability features such as fault detection, device protection, dual boot, dual system file redundancy, link aggregation, and storm control. Enhanced security measures include ARP Inspection, IP Source Guard, DoS protection, port security, and DHCP snooping. Management is streamlined with an embedded controller and integration with GWN.Cloud and GWN Manager, Grandstream’s cloud and on-premise Wi-Fi management platforms. Built-in QoS ensures the prioritization of network traffic, while support for stacking (pending) allows for easy management on one interface, creating a redundant backup across multiple devices.
